SHOT IN A MIRROR LIVE

In November 2023 I released my second book, Shot In A Mirror. Published by Midnight Mass Books, this cute little book is a collection of portraits and a couple of essays (see Books for more info.) As I assembled the photos and text, I chose to keep the writing spare, not wanting any of the people shown to be reduced to one or two line descriptors. Upon launch and throughout the year that followed, I did talks about the photos, presenting a slide show with observations, context, and deeper descriptions. Events in Toronto, Peterborough, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, St Catharine’s and London, ON were so well received and inspiring. And road trips with friends and fellow artists were a total sweet bonus. Traveling, meeting and talking with people who put the events on, who hosted us, or who came to the talks was fantastic, a hyper dose of stimulus. 

These presentations revealed to me that I had enough thoughts and stories about particular people and situations that I could fill a book. So I did! Out Summer 2026 on ECW Press.
