Portrait of a Serial Monogamist was a real joy to create the score for. This first feature by directors Christina Zeidler and John Mitchell spotlighted excellent performances by stars Diane Flacks, Vanessa Dunn and Carolyn Taylor, with a great supporting cast. Toronto is a leading character in the film too, with scenes in so many familiar places.

The film’s score allowed me to work with some of my favourite friends and bandmates. Guitars were played by Dallas Good, Laura Pitkanen, and Lisa Myers, piano was played by Tony Malone. Celina Carroll and Sally Lee did vocals and Lisa Lambert wrote lyrics for the closing song.

The film premiered in 2015 and was released in 2016. John and Christine are in the second pic, outside a screening.
